How to find us

Cook Academy is held at Henry Beaufort School in Winchester (the postcode is SO22 6JJ  if you want to get more comprehensive directions from the internet).

Winchester is easily accessed from the M3, A34 and A31.

M3 from the north: take J9 and follow signs to the city centre. Once you are in the one way system get into the right hand lane, go round to the right where the road splits at the top of the hill, then follow signs to the A34 Andover/Newbury (and M3) which will get you onto the B3420 (Andover Road), then follow directions below.

A34 from the north: just after the Sutton Scotney services take the turning to Winchester and the B3420. As you are approaching the outskirts of Winchester take the turning (right) to Harestock onto Harestock Road. Take the first left into Priors Dean Road and continue until you find the March Hare pub on your left and follow the directions below.

A31 (A3 and A272) from the east: follow the A31 to Winchester and continue into the city. At the mini roundabout take the second exit and at the large roundabout take the second exit. Follow this road into the one way system and get into the right hand lane, go round to the right where the road splits at the top of the hill, then follow signs to the A34 Andover/Newbury (and M3) which will get you onto the B3420 (Andover Road), then follow directions below.

From the west: from Romsey on the A3090 follow signs to the city centre and the Royal Hampshire County Hospital. At the last roundabout before the hospital take the first exit left into Chilbolton Avenue. At the end of the road turn right into Bereweeke Road and follow the directions below.

From Stockbridge on the B3049 follow signs to Harestock and turn left into Harestock Road. Take the fifth turning on the right into Priors Dean Road and turn left after the March Hare pub and follow directions below.

Henry Beaufort School, Winchester:  take the second left after the Jolly Farmer Pub, off Andover Road (the B3420) into Bereweeke Road. Half way down this road turn right into Bereweeke Avenue. Continue up this road, straight over at the cross roads and up the hill. The school is on the right at the top of the hill. Go past the main entrance to the school and continue along Priors Dean Road until you reach the March Hare Pub on the right. Turn right just before the pub into Buriton Road, then take the first right into East Woodhay Road, through the school gates and park in the car park. Go up the steps with the illuminous green stripes and the cookery room is in the building on your right called ‘Technology’ (opposite is the school main reception). The room is right down at the end of the corridor, on the left. There will be a ‘cook’ board outside.
