What we really mean is little and fairly grown up cooks too.

Now that we don’t tend to do cookery at school anymore and we have an ever increasing selection of ready-meals to choose from, our offspring need to learn how to feed themselves properly without developing scurvy or a large hole in their bank balance (takeaways, ready-meals, restaurants etc). And if giving them driving lessons has given you palpitations then let someone else spend quality time with them teaching them the necessary cookery survival skills. If your children aren’t quite ready to leave home yet and we can safely class them as little cooks, we also are eager to take them off your hands and let them have some fun making things and mess in the kitchen.
